Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM) After School Program: work directly with middle school and high school students, helping them improve education focused knowledge and skills as well as build interaction skills while fulfilling your service-learning requirements. By partnering with GUM, you’ll play a key role in shaping young learners’ futures while gaining valuable experience for your medical career. This is a faith-based organization and does hold occasional Bible study lessons. Volunteers are welcome to take a break if not comfortable participating in these segments.
