This unique experience allows medical students to actively engage in the education and development of high school students with disabilities. Through a partnership with Ball High School, UTMB students will support classroom educators by facilitating meaningful interactions and adaptive learning activities. This collaboration provides future healthcare professionals with valuable exposure to inclusive education, disability advocacy, and person-centered communication—enhancing their ability to serve individuals with diverse needs. Parking: It is recommended to get to Ball about 15 mins early because it may be a little challenging to find parking. You may find a spot in the large parking lot across from Ball High or along 41st street. You will enter the school at the entrance closest to 41st street (there is flagpole near this entrance). The last door on the right when you are facing the 41st Street entrance is the one that will be unlocked and it has an orange sign indicating you can enter there.
