Volunteers/service learners will help children from pre-K through second grade grow vegetables and fruits a the school gardens, read aloud, and give the children books to keep. Volunteers make a big difference in language and learning by being caring adults to engage in conversation. We recommend parking in the Moody Methodist Church lot and walking across the parking lot, because the traffic close to the school is difficult at dismissal time. This is NOT the garden on Ave. S.
