Inclusive Medical Initiative (IMI) is a hands-on program connecting UTMB medical students with Ball High School students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Using a “Reverse Clinical” model, Ball High students take an active role in clinical learning experiences while medical students practice inclusive communication, relationship-building, boundaries, and adapted clinical skills. Students can park in the Ball High parking lot in front of the school.
