Work directly with 3rd and 4th grade children, helping them improve social skills, reading, mathematics, and learning while fulfilling your service-learning requirements. By partnering with ACE, you’ll play a key role in shaping young learners’ futures while gaining valuable experience for your medical career. You may be helping in a variety of areas from gardening outdoors to tutoring indoors. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes so you can move around easily. Casual dress is fine. Plan to arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm. Parents will be picking up their kids around this time so you can expect traffic around the school. Parker Elementary is on 6802 Jones Dr. in Galveston. You can park in the school parking lot and walk up to the front entrance. Let them know you are there for the ACE after school program. Please bring your driver’s license as you may need it to enter the school. You will need to sign in when you arrive.
